Recently, Huayue Nickel-Cobalt (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. has been awarded the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) certification, marking an important milestone as the company’s efforts in responsible mineral supply chain management and ESG governance have been recognized by an international authority. This achievement enhances the company's industry standing and propels the construction of a green, sustainable mineral supply chain.

Today, on December 27th, a significant event themed "Leading Development of New Quality Productivity by Large Enterprises and Building a Private Economy Headquarters Hub" took place in Tongxiang, Zhejiang. Over a hundred large enterprises gathered to discuss strategies for enhancing new quality productivity and unleashing the vibrant energy of headquarters economy.

On December 19th, the Chairman of the Indonesia Investment and Downstream Minister/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, visited the Huayou Quzhou base for inspection and exchange. The Chairman of Huayou Holding Group, Chen Xuehua, warmly received him along with Liu Jincheng, the Chairman of EVE Energy. During their meeting, they held a discussion session.

On December 20th, the "HUAYOUgx" brand electrolytic nickel (electro-winning process, Ni99.96) produced by Guangxi Huayou New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huayou Cobalt, was successfully registered on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE). The registered production capacity is 30,000 tons.

Recently, the kick-off meeting for the "Development and Industrialization of High-Safety, High-Energy Density Solid-State Battery Cathode Materials" project was held in Quzhou. This project, led by Huayou New Energy Industry Group and jointly implemented with upstream and downstream enterprises and research institutions such as Beijing Weilan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University, and Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, aims to tackle key technologies for high-density, long-life, and high-rate solid-state battery cathode materials.

On the afternoon of December 8th, Huayou's 2024 Annual Supplier Conference was held in Tongxiang under the theme "Standing Firm at Thirty, Grateful for You; Competing to Win, Winning Together for the Future". Over 500 guests from 165 partner companies around the world gathered in the beautiful city of Tongxiang to foster friendships, discuss development, envision the future, and jointly create a new pattern of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. Mr. Chen Hongliang, President of Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd., attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Lu Feng.
