On January 13th, Jiaxing’s Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor Hairong Yan visited the group headquarters for research and guidance. President Hongliang Chen warmly received him.

On January 21st, Huayou Cobalt's 2025 annual work conference was held at the company’s headquarters in Tongxiang. Group President Chen Hongliang delivered a keynote report titled “Overcome Challenges, Forge Ahead: Expanding the Achievements of the 14th Five-Year Plan Through High-Quality Development.” Chairman Chen Xuehua and senior executives attended the meeting, which reviewed 2024 accomplishments, analyzed challenges, and outlined strategic priorities for 2025.

To further strengthen the coverage and closed-loop of Huayou’s industrial chain, Huayou Recycling has deepened its global footprint by establishing strategic partnerships with France’s SUEZ and Hong Kong’s GEM Sky International Holdings Limited (GEM Sky), exploring battery recycling value chains in Europe and North America.

On January 6th, the Chairman of Indonesia's Investment and Downstream Industry Ministry and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, along with Deputy Minister Nurul Ichwan, visited the Huafei and Huaneng projects at the Weda Bay Industrial Park in Indonesia for inspection and exchange. Gao Baojun, Senior Vice President of the Group and President of Indonesia Nickel Industry Group, warmly received them on behalf of the company.

On December 28, 2024, Huayou Cobalt Industry and Northeastern University jointly hosted a New Year event for Indonesian international students. The annual summary symposium, corporate culture seminar, and New Year gala provided a platform for exchanges of ideas, experience sharing, and friendship building among enterprises, schools, and students. More importantly, these activities made the international students feel the warmth of home in a foreign land at the end of the year, looking forward to the new year together.
